Tools that run in your browser

HEIC to JPG, WEBP to JPG, Compress image, MP4 to MP3 and the QR code generator process your files entirely on your device. Your photos, videos, text and logos are never sent to a server, so we can't see or store them.

Compress PDF

This is the only tool that uses our server, because compressing a PDF needs a program that can't run in the browser.

What data: the PDF you send and your IP address. Why: to compress the file and send it back to you. Legal basis: providing the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long: the PDF is kept in temporary memory only while it's processed and is deleted automatically when it's done, whether the compression succeeded or failed. We keep no copies, nobody looks at it and we don't use it for anything else. The server is located in the European Union.

Security and technical data

Like any website, our server and our network and security provider (Cloudflare) process your IP address and technical data from your browser to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks and abuse. To prevent abuse of PDF compression, we keep your IP in memory for 10 minutes at most. Server technical logs are kept for 30 days at most. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Advertising

The site is free and funded by Google ads (AdSense and Google Ad Manager). Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to show ads, measure their performance, prevent fraud and, if you agree, personalize them.

Before any advertising cookies are used, you'll see a consent notice from a Google-certified platform where you can accept, reject or configure them, and change your choice at any time. Storage on your device

We don't use our own cookies. We store a single item in your browser's local storage: "adblock-grace-until", the date until which you can use the site with an ad blocker on. It contains no personal data and you can delete it from your browser settings.

To show that notice, we check on your own device whether your browser blocks ads. The result is never sent anywhere. Fonts are served from our own server, without contacting third parties.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or give away your data. The only processors involved are: our server's hosting provider (in the EU); Cloudflare, for network and security, with transfers to the US covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; and Google, for advertising, according to your consent.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to [email protected]. Since we don't keep your files or data that identifies you, we usually won't have any information about you to hand over or delete.

If you believe we haven't handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the data protection authority in your country.
